Solid waste management
According to the National Solid Waste Policy (Federal Law No. 12,305/2010), Integrated Solid Waste Management is a set of actions aimed at finding solutions for solid waste, in order to consider the political, economic , environmental, cultural and social, under the premise of sustainable development. Solid waste management is based on the non-generation, reduction, reuse, recycling and treatment of solid waste, as well as the environmentally appropriate final disposal of waste.
